Domaine La Tarais -

C.G.V. for room rental

Arrival time:

We receive you between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm every day. If you wish to arrive earlier or later, please specify this at the time of booking.

Departure time:

Please vacate the room by 11:00 a.m.

An extra day will be charged if departure times are not respected.

  • Reserved, private parking
  • Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am.
  • Snacks, snacks, picnics and meals are not allowed in the rooms :

The consumption of alcohol in the rooms is not allowed, you have a living room and a dining room for this type of consumption.

  • Our animal friends are not allowed on the whole estate.
  • For safety reasons, especially fire fighting, our area is completely non-smoking including steaming. Ashtrays are at your disposal outside.
  • Our house is not adapted to welcome people with reduced mobility.

Swimming pool in season

Access is allowed from 9am to 8pm, in harmony with the occupants of the guest house and the occupants of the gîtes.
Swimming is unsupervised and forbidden to unaccompanied children. It is under your responsibility. Any fall, drowning or peril will in no case lead to legal action against the Domaine de la Tarais.

We reserve the right to prohibit access to the pool in case of doubt about the quality of the water.

Playground

Access is allowed at any time in harmony with the occupants of the guest house and the occupants of the gîtes.

Supervision of the children is your responsibility. Any fall or danger on the various installations can in no way lead to legal action against the Domaine de la Tarais.

Booking conditions and cancellation

  • Reservation guaranteed by payment of the totality of your stay by cheque, credit card, holiday vouchers, valid at the date of the beginning of the stay, or bank transfer.
  • Payment from Domaine de la Tarais by credit card, bank cheque or cash, holiday vouchers.

Your credit card will be charged in case of no-show or late cancellation under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation free of charge possible up to 10 days before arrival
  • Less than 10 days before arrival: 50%.
  • No presentation : 100%.

C.G.V. for renting the gîtes

Article 1: Length of stay
The signatory tenant of the present contract concluded for a determined duration will not be able to in no circumstance to prevail himself of any right to remain in the places at the end of the stay.

Article 2: Conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the tenant has sent the owner the signed contract and a deposit of 25% of the total rental amount. The contract is returned signed by the owner upon receipt of the deposit. The rental concluded between the parties to the present contract can in no case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner. Any infringement of this last paragraph could lead to the immediate cancellation of the rental at the expense of the tenant, the proceeds of the rental remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 3: Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
a) Cancellation before arrival on the premises: The deposit remains the property of the owner. If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the date of stay, then the owner reserves the right to keep the entire amount paid.
If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, this contract becomes null and void and the owner can dispose of his gîte. The amount of the rent remains the property of the owner.
b) If the stay is shortened, the price of the rental remains the property of the owner. There will be no refund.

Article 4: Cancellation by the owner
The owner will pay the tenant the totality of the sums paid, as well as an indemnity equal to the deposit paid.

Article 5: Arrival and departure
The tenant must present himself on the day and at the time mentioned on this contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must inform the owner.
The tenant must respect the departure times mentioned on the present contract.

Article 6: Payment of the balance
The balance of the rental of the gîte is paid a maximum of 15 days before arrival by bank transfer, credit card, bank cheque or holiday vouchers.

Article 7 : Inventory of fixtures
An inventory is drawn up with the tenant on arrival at the gîte. This inventory is the only reference in case of dispute concerning the inventory of fixtures.
An inventory of fixtures on the tenant’s departure will also be drawn up.

Article 8: Security deposit or bond
A security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on this contract, is required by the owner. It is to be paid at the same time as the balance of the stay. After the inventory of fixtures and fittings has been drawn up by both parties, this deposit is returned within a period not exceeding one week, less the cost of restoring the premises if any damage is noted.

Article 9: Use of the premises
The tenant will have to ensure the peaceful character of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises.

Article 10: Capacity
The present contract is established for a maximum capacity of persons mentioned on the present contract. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional persons. Any modification or breach of contract will be considered at the initiative of the client.

Article 11: Animals
The present contract specifies that the tenant may not stay in the company of a pet. In case of non-respect of this clause by the tenant, the owner can refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be made.

Article 12: Insurance
The renter is responsible for all damages arising from his own actions. He is required to be insured by a holiday-type insurance contract for these various risks.

Article 13: Fire
For safety reasons, especially fire fighting, the tenant and its occupants are not allowed to smoke or vaporize inside the Gîte. Ashtrays are at your disposal outside the rental.

Article 14 : Tourist tax
The tourist tax is due per person and per day. It is extra and must be paid to the owner.
